Yarn Samples
Want to feel the yarn or see the colour "in the flesh" before buying it?
At The Yarn Queen we understand that sometimes you want to feel and see yarn physically before purchasing it.
Just ask us and we will include one yarn sample free with any pattern book or pattern leaflet purchase.
Or, for just $5.15 you can request up to 5 samples, or, $10.25 for 6 - 10 samples (includes free post).
We will create a card of yarn samples especially for YOU! You choose the yarns and shades you want!
Please note:
1. Yarns must be showing in stock on our website (see All Yarns page). We regret we cannot provide samples of yarns we do not normally stock.
2. Ashford yarns are not able to be included in this service. A yarn sample card of all Ashford Tekapo 8ply yarn colours, and all Ashford Mackenzie 4ply Merino yarn colours, can be ordered separately on their respective website pages.
How to Order Samples:

(Tip: Make a separate note of which yarns you want and have this ready to add to the checkout Comments field later.)
- Choose number of Yarn Samples below and click Add to Cart
- Include the following details in the Comments field at the checkout (or, alternatively you can email us the details separately):
- Yarn Brand: eg Sirdar
- Yarn Type: eg Snuggly DK
- Yarn Shade: eg 251 White, OR, " Any Shade" (**see note below)

Yarn samples may only be requested from yarns showing as in stock on The Yarn Queen website (no samples of Pre-order Discount yarns available), and are non-returnable & non-refundable. Free post is available for New Zealand postal addresses only (NZ$5.00 postage outside New Zealand).
Making up shade cards takes time and delays may be experienced during peak times.
