Yarn Samples
Want to feel the yarn before buying it?
At The Yarn Queen we understand that sometimes you want to feel the yarn before purchasing it.
Just ask us and we will include one yarn sample free with any pattern book or pattern leaflet purchase.
Or, for just $5 (includes free post) you can request up to 5 samples, or, $10 for 6 - 10 samples. No pattern purchase necessary.
We will create a card of yarn samples especially for YOU! YOU choose the yarns and shades YOU want!
Please note: Ashford yarns are not able to be included in this service. A yarn sample card of all Ashford Tekapo Solid 8ply yarn shades can be ordered separately on the Tekapo Solid 8ply yarn page. Postage will apply.
How to Order Samples:

(Tip: Make a separate note of which yarns you want and have this ready to add to the checkout Comments field later.)
- Choose number of Yarn Samples below and click Add to Cart
- Include the following details in the Comments field at the checkout (or, alternatively you can email us the details separately):
- Yarn Brand: eg Sirdar
- Yarn Type: eg Snuggly DK
- Yarn Shade: eg 255 Mellow Pink, OR, " Any Shade" (**see note below)

** In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply a particular shade requested, another shade from the same yarn type will be substituted.
Yarn samples may only be requested from yarns showing as in stock on The Yarn Queen website, and are non-returnable & non-refundable. This service is available for New Zealand postal addresses only.
