Shipping Charges:

Within New Zealand

Prices include 15% GST.

Postal - Letter Rate Pattern leaflets, pattern booklets, some knitting needles and small items (ie anything that can safely fit up to an A4 size envelope & fits within NZ Post's letter rate maximum thickness of 2cm): $2.80 Standard Post
Courier Everything else, including all yarn, by Courier:
- Up to 2kg $7.50
- Over 2kg add $5.00
- Rural Delivery add $4.50 (**see note below)

Please include your street address on the checkout form, as our courier cannot deliver to PO Box numbers. Parcels are sent Signature Required, unless you request for them to be left at your risk. (Suggestion: some customers have their parcels delivered to their place of work to avoid parcels being delivered to their home while they are not home to receive/sign for them.)

A shipping confirmation email is sent when your parcel is dispatched. A Track & Trace number is available upon request.

Please note: We do not use NZ Post for parcels unless it is to an off shore island where our courier has no contract delivery eg Chatham Islands.

** Failure to advise us that the delivery address is Rural Delivery, or to provide an RD number, will incur a later bill of $4.50 plus $5.00 admin fee being charged. We regret this action but cannot absorb the extra charges we incur from the courier company when we receive a chargeback from them in these cases. If in doubt whether the delivery address is Rural Delivery please ask us first.

Ashford Products (except Ashford knitting yarns and knitting needles):
These items include Ashford spinning wheels, weaving looms, accessories, fibres, dyes etc. These items are shipped direct from the manufacturer for $17.25 inc GST to any New Zealand address, and may be combined with other Ashford products on our website.
Other brand items purchased from this website at the same time incur a separate shipping fee as above as they are shipped direct from us.

Delivery Timeframe:

Within New Zealand

Usually 2 – 6 working days. Delivery to some areas may take slightly longer.
We will adivise you If we anticipate any delay in delivery.

Postal Deliveries: Due to NZ Post's regulations you must inform us within 12 days of receiving our email shipping confirmation if any item sent to you by NZ Post has not been received. This is to allow us to make a claim within NZ Post's claim timeframe. We will replace or refund based on the result of NZ Post's investigations. If we are advised later than 12 days we are unable to replace or refund for missing postal items.

Courier Deliveries: Please contact us by email within 21 days of the expected or otherwise advised delivery timeframe if your order has not arrived. We will replace or refund based on the result of the courier company's investigations. Late claims may not be able to be adequately investigated by the courier company.
