Project Comfort Dolls

We've started Project Comfort Dolls in New Zealand to provide kiwi crafters an opportunity to knit or sew comfort dolls for children in need. The SoapNut Shop collects and distributes the hand-made dolls to kiwi kids and children overseas.

Dolls are often used as a therapeutic method to help children that have been involved in crisis and life alterating situations. Having a doll to cuddle provides comfort to children suffering physically or emotionally. For some children this may be the first time they have something to call their own.

Type of help requested: Knitted dolls
